Where's Heidi?

Probably hiding.

Our shyest turtle earned her name honestly. Heidi appreciates her alone time and can usually be found burrowed deep into the substrate rather than posing for pictures. She's still building confidence when it comes to claiming her space—and her share of the food—but we're slowly seeing her become more comfortable.

We're encouraging her to come out of her shell.

Metaphorically, of course.

Most likely to: Leave the function without saying goodbye.
