Responsible Reptile Ownership
Great care starts with understanding your animal! Whether you’re considering your first reptile or improving care for one you already love, our educators provide guidance tailored to your species and experience level.
This personalized two-hour consultation covers habitat setup, nutrition, handling, enrichment, and common health questions—with plenty of room for your questions.
Great for: Individuals, families, current reptile owners, and educators considering a classroom reptile.

Night Hikes
When the sun goes down, a different adventure begins! Explore Gorman Heritage Farm on a guided evening hike and discover the animals that become active after sunset. Bring your curiosity as we take a closer look at the farm’s nighttime wildlife.

Track a Turtle. Be Part of Their Comeback!
Coming Spring & Fall 2027
Follow our ROBOTS project into the field! ROBOTS—Repatriating Ohio’s Box Turtles—is helping rehabilitate box turtles and return them to the wild. Beginning in spring and fall 2027, we’ll invite families and groups to join guided turtle-tracking hikes at Gorman Heritage Farm.
Help locate turtles using tracking equipment, learn how we monitor their progress, and discover what it takes to give these native animals another chance. It’s an opportunity to connect with the turtles you’re helping protect and experience conservation in action!
